`What pulsars (pulsating radio sources) have done to (and for) physics'

The Eleventh BARKLA Lecture


will be given on Thursday, 9th February 2017, 5 p.m. in the Rotblat Lecture Theatre, Department of Physics (Bld. 207, E6 on the campus map), by Dame Susan Jocelyn Bell Burnell DBE FRS FRSE FRAS, Visiting Professor Astrophysics, University of Oxford.

Refreshments will be served from 4:30 p.m. and the lecture will be followed by a wine reception in the foyer outside the lecture hall.
The Barkla Colloquium is aimed at a broad audience and undergraduates are cordially invited to attend the event.
