`Black Hole Thermodynamics'

The Ninth BARKLA Lecture was given on Thursday, May 15th 2014, 4 p.m. in the Rotblat Lecture Theatre, Department of Physics (Bld. 207, E6 on the campus map), by Professor Jacob D. Bekenstein, Polak Professor of Theoretical Physics at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Refreshments were served from 3:30 p.m. and the lecture was be followed by a wine reception in the foyer outside the lecture hall. The Barkla Colloquium is aimed at a broad audience and many undergraduates attended the event.
