The game of NIM is played with several stacks of tokens, and each player in turn
can take any number of these tokens from any of the stacks. The player who
takes the last token wins.
We will devise a surprisingly simple way of determining the configurations that
are guaranteed to win for either player and then find generalisations that cover a
large number of such games.
