Latin Squares and Groups - Shaine Bushell

A latin square is an array of elements in which each element appears once and only once in every column and row. For example, if we have four objects called 'A', 'B', 'C' and 'D', one possibility for a latin square is shown below. This presentation develops the idea of Latin Squares, thinking of the elements as translations or movements of an object. The concept of a group is introduced, and some examples given.
