An arithmetic progression is a sequence of numbers where each term is a
sum of the preceding one and a fixed number. A geometric progression is a sequence of numbers where each term is a
product of the preceding one and a fixed number. This presentation gives some examples of each, and contains a number of amusing (but at times challenging) problems to try.
