You may have already met functions whose graphs have a simple shape, such as a line, circle or a parabola. We'll go further and discuss functions whose graphs give rise to various other shapes, such as hearts, petals, spirals, and beyond. We'll discuss curve sketching generally: how do you quickly construct the graph of a function given its equation (whatever that equation may be)?
