The nearest airports are Oakland International (OAK, 25 miles), San Jose International (SJC, 36 miles) and San Francisco International (SFO, 43 miles). You can get to the hotel:
1) By renting a car and driving. Click here for directions.
2) By using the Bay Area Rapid Transport (BART) subway. There is a BART station inside the San Francisco airport. From the Oakland airport there are shuttle buses that would take you to the nearby BART station. There is no BART service to the San Jose airport. The station nearest the hotel is the Dublin/Pleasanton station. The hotel shuttle can pick you up from the station at no charge. Please call the hotel for pickup (1-925-243-1000). The station has two sides, one for Pleasanton and one for Dublin. The hotel shuttle picks up on the Pleasanton side.
A block of rooms has been reserved at the Courtyard by Marriot in Livermore at an LLNL negotiated rate. To make reservations please follow the links below. The LLNL room rate code has already been inserted. Or you can call the hotel directly at 925-243-1000, or the Marriott Reservation Center at 800-828-5607 and reference the LLNL-Lattice Gauge Workshop to receive the group rate. You must reserve by April 14, 2008 at 6:00 pm. Thereafter, reservations will be taken on a space and rate availability basis.

Also, the hotel will provide complimentary shuttle service in the morning to Wente and in the evening back to the hotel. Upon arrival please let the hotel know if you would need shuttle service.
