Dear Colleague,

This is the first announcement of the next workshop in the series "Lattice Meets Experiment: Beyond the Standard Model". Previous meetings in this series were held at Livermore (2008), Boston University (2009) and Fermilab (2011).

The recent discovery of a Higgs-like particle at the LHC has transformed the landscape of physics beyond the standard model (BSM). New physics scenarios must accommodate this new particle, whose properties will soon be measured to higher precision. Lattice calculations will play a vital role in determining what models of new strong dynamics remain viable, and will help explore the predictions of these models for BSM physics.

The goal of this workshop is to bring together experimenters, phenomenologists, and lattice theorists interested in strongly coupled BSM physics, to discuss the most promising models and ways in which to explore them.

More details about the workshop and venue can be found online at
http://www-hep.colorado.edu/~schaich/lat-exp-2012/

While there will be no registration fees for this workshop, to assist local organizing we ask that all participants register as soon as possible, and no later than October 12.

Please share this announcement with any colleagues you think might be interested.

On behalf of the organizing committee,
Anna Hasenfratz
