Introduction
The local organising committee for the
lattice 2005
conference have decided to publish the proceedings
of the conference
online.
The proceedings will be published in the
Proceedings of Science
(POS).
There will also be a CD of the proceedings
mailed to each participant. The POS site
contains
detailed instructions for authors.
See the NEWS
(
, RSS
)
page to find
out the progress of the proceedings.
See the help pages
for useful information about preparing the manuscript.
The deadline for submissions is
Friday 23rd September 2005.
Below are the page lengths for different types of
presentations.

The plan
The POS site contains the definitive
information
on how to submit a paper to the conference proceedings.
Essentially POS will email the author with information
on how to submit their paper.
Shortly after the deadline the contents page will
be made public. We will send an email to the
lattice news email list when this happens.
The introduction to the proceedings will be
put on hep-lat. We are hoping to note on the proceedings
home page the date the paper was submitted.
A sample
We have converted one of last years standard
3 page conference proceedings to the
new format
The conversion between
Elsevier and POS format took less than an hour.
The bibtex style file for the JHEP journal
produces references in the correct format.
We plan to provide more examples of common
things such as including multiple collaboration names.
The web site for the
Baryons in Dark Matter Halos conference
should give some idea of what the final site will look
like. PoS have updated their software recently.
