The Theoretical Physics Division covers a broad range of topics in theoretical particle physics, including lattice gauge theory, quantum field theory and its application to collider physics, and string phenomenology. In a joint submission with the Applied Mathematics Division, 60% of our research outputs were rated world leading or internationally excellent in the RAE 2008.
