`Sudakov logs and BN violations in electroweak corrections at the LHC' Abstract: Electroweak corrections have been studied for a wide range of processes at the LHC. In most of these studies, only the virtual corrections are taken into account, as real corrections lead to different final states in the detectors. In this seminar, I will review the emergence of Sudakov logarithms in real and virtual corrections and I will discuss the combination of analytical real and virtual corrections at the double-logarithmic level. I will consider gamma/Z+jet and the ratio of the two in detail, presenting results for the LHC. The combination is found to lead to a partial compensation of the negative virtual corrections logs, related to the violation of the Block-Nordsieck(BN) theorem in non-Abelian theories. I will also briefly comment on other scattering processes, such as QCD dijet production, W+Z and W+H, just commenting on whether BN violations are expected for these processes, their origin and how important they are expected to be.
