`N = 2 supergravity, black holes and special geometry' Abstract: I will give an introduction to N = 2 supergravity with a particular emphasis on black hole physics and differential geometry. Following this, my aim will be to present the main results of my PhD thesis: new black hole solutions and the proof that target manifold of the timelike c-map is para-quaternion Kahler, and to discuss future research directions of myself and other members of the group.
