`On the NNLO QCD corrections to deep-inelastic heavy-quark production' The production of heavy quarks in deep-inelastic scattering (DIS) sheds light on a number of interesting issues in QCD. Furthermore, with more data analyses from HERA run II still to be finalized, constraints on global fits of PDF and its consequences for collider phenomenology are, perhaps, the most important aspects of this process in the era of the LHC. Approximated next-to-next-to-leading order (NNLO) QCD corrections for the total section of heavy-quark production in photon exchange DIS are presented. These are obtained by extending and combining NNLO information from different kinematical regimes, i.e. threshold, high-energy and asymptotically large Q2>>m2.
