`QCD threshold corrections to inclusive jet production at hadron colliders' We study the effects of higher order QCD corrections to inclusive jet production process at hadron colliders by computing the threshold corrections in the soft-gluon resummation formalism. We then expand the resummed results to next-to-leading logarithmic (NLL) accuracy at the two loop level and compare with those in the literature. For Tevatron and LHC we present the rapidity integrated distributions of the jet's transverse momentum. Further, we investigate the phenomenology of these threshold corrections by comparing the one-loop threshold corrections with the exact next-to-leading order (NLO) QCD predictions and discuss the dependence of the inclusive jet distributions on the jet cone size.
