`Aspects of Two and Four Dimensional Gauge Theories'

Abstract:
Four dimensional N=1 theories and their compactification on a torus with a
magnetic field are studied and their corresponding (0,2) supersymmetric two
dimensional theory. This leads to a short discussion of the string theory
realisation of N=1 SQCD.
