The dimensional reduction to four dimensional Euclidean space of five dimensional supersymmetric theories with coupled vector multiplets is studied. Particular attention is given to the scalar manifolds of the resulting four dimensional theories. Sign ambiguities arise in the five dimensional field theories due to the behaviour of the dimensional reduction. Dualised theories in five and four dimensions are then looked at to resolve the problems that arise in the various Lagrangians and the resulting scalar manifolds.
