How do I get a preprint number?

Papers are stored in a file on the /raid1 networked disk.

/raid1/backup/www/RECENT_PUBS/index.html

Please add an entry to this file in a similar format to those already there. This page is protected by group permissions.

This file is used to update the publication list, so only please take a number when the paper is about to put on the archive.
