Is there a graphical user interface to LaTex?
The
lyx
system is a GUI interface to LaTex.
It seems very useful for creating slides.
type
/ukqcd3/svwright/sun/bin/lyx
This should open up a lyx interface.

For giving talks foiltex is useful
layout -> document
will open up an interface.
click on the class: box and choose
slides(FoilTex).
