How do I add a networked printer to my PC setup on MWS?

This advice from Steve's computing advice pages

To add a printer in MWS:

  1. MyComputer/ControlPanel/Printers/AddPrinter/Next/Network printer/Next/
  2. Double click down: NDPS printers/NDPS controlled access printers/LIVERPOOL/UOL/central/Printers/.
  3. Choose printer. Correct driver will be installed.
  4. The LJ4 printer is 'Th Ph Lj4000'
  5. The LJ2300 duplex printer is not managed by CSD. You need to download the drivers from the HP site or ask Steve to use his HP CD rom.
  6. To set a printer as default, go through Settings/Printers to reach the printer and then select 'Printer' when the window for the particular printer opens up.
